Sinclair Lewis was the first American to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. The Sinclair Lewis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization which aims to increase awareness of Sinclair Lewis' ties to the Sauk Centre area.

    “This public notice is to inform qualified parties that public funds will be spent for the purpose of generating a Historic Structure Report on the Sinclair Lewis Boyhood Home in Sauk Centre, MN. A Request for Proposal is available by contacting Jim Umhoefer, president of the Sinclair Lewis Foundation, at umhoefer@mainstreetcom.com. Interested parties should submit their proposal, as specified in the RFP document, by noon on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.”
